Setting Up DeepL API
Add your DeepL API key to access professional, natural-sounding translations for your app store metadata across 30+ languages.

Create a DeepL Account
- → Go to deepl.com/pro-api and create a free account
- → The DeepL API Free plan includes 500,000 characters/month at no cost — more than enough for typical usage

Subscribe to a DeepL API Plan
- → After creating your account, go to deepl.com/pro
- → Select DeepL API Free (no credit card required for the free tier)
- → Complete the sign-up — note that DeepL API requires a separate account from the DeepL translator app

Copy Your Authentication Key
Key Step- → Go to your DeepL account settings at deepl.com/account/summary
- → Scroll down to find the Authentication Key section
- → Copy the key — Free plan keys end in

Add the Key to AppShots
- → Open AppShots → Settings → DeepL
- → Paste the key into the API Key field
- → Your key is stored securely in the macOS Keychain
You're all set!
DeepL will now be available as a translation provider in AppShots. It's especially known for natural-sounding European language translations.
