Setting Up Gemini API
Add your Gemini API key to use Google's multimodal AI for high-quality metadata translation across 30+ languages inside AppShots.

Open Google AI Studio
- → Go to aistudio.google.com
- → Sign in with your Google account — a standard personal or Workspace account works

Get an API Key
Free tier available- → Click Get API key in the left sidebar
- → Click Create API key
- → Select an existing Google Cloud project or create a new one

Add the Key to AppShots
- → Open AppShots → Settings → Gemini
- → Paste the key into the API Key field
- → Click Load Models to fetch the available Gemini models
- → Select your preferred model —
gemini-2.0-flashis recommended for speed and quality
Which model should I choose?
- • gemini-2.0-flash — Best balance of speed and quality. Recommended for most users.
- • gemini-1.5-pro — Higher quality output, slower and slightly more expensive.
- • gemini-1.5-flash — Very fast, good for iterating on translations quickly.
